El trabajo repasa la historia de los controles cambiarios establecidos de tiempo en tiempo en la Argentina con incidencia en el sector de hidrocarburos y de energía eléctrica, abordando el impacto de los controles y el cambio de reglas en los proyectos de estos sectores y la actitud del Gobierno Nacional respecto de los regímenes cambiarios especiales dictados para estos sectores.

The paper reviews the history of the foreign exchange controls imposed from time to time in Argentina, which have impacted in the hydrocarbon and power sectors, addressing the effects of the relevant restrictions and of the abrupt change of rules in hydrocarbon and power projects and the Federal Government’s attitude in connection with the specific regimes approved for these sectors.
