A partir de la realidad uruguaya de base y de la evolución del Derecho minero en el país, se presenta la organización administrativa vigente, tanto a nivel centralizado como descentralizado, y las características más salientes del régimen jurídico de la actividad minera.

Based on the Uruguayan reality and the evolution of the mining law in the country, the current administrative organization is presented, both at the centralized and the decentralized level, as well as the most salient features of the legal regime of the mining activity.
