El esquema de mitigación creado por el Acuerdo de París trataba de remediar la falta de efectividad mostrada por la Convención de Nueva York y el Protocolo de Kyoto en términos de reducción de emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero. Este estudio tiene por objeto el análisis de la efectividad de ese esquema, partiendo de la precisión de cómo ha de entenderse este concepto en relación con el sistema climático internacional.

The mitigation scheme created by the Paris Agreement tried to remedy the lack of effectiveness shown by the New York Convention and the Kyoto Protocol in terms of reducing greenhouse gases emissions. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of this scheme, starting from the precision of how this concept has to be understood in relation to the international climate system.
